HYPHA
For the final project of my beginning graphic design course, I created a concept called Hypha. Hypha is a character representing a solution to the radiation disaster in Fukushima. Since mushrooms are the highest bioaccumulators, cesium from the soils can be absorbed into the fruit of the mycelium and disposed. This process of mycoremediation is embodied into the protagonist Hypha. Hypha or "Hyphae" are the white rootlike strands that make up a network of mycelium. The Final PDF of the project can be viewed on the bottom of this page.
Color Works Booklet
ColorWorks is "An Essential Guide to Understanding and Applying Color Design Principles" by Eddie Opara and John Cantwell. For my Beginning Graphics course, we created a small booklet on the book that we chose to read. This booklet was to demonstrate our knowledge on the material. Below is my take on color and how it "works".
